Heya folks! I’ve got an announcement to make.
It’s about the comics I’m working on now: The Walrus, the Guppy Fish & the Dragon & Heroes Never Die. They will need to be on a 3 month hiatus. The hiatus period begins at 18 Jan 2021 up to 14 April 2021. I’m sorry to have to do this.
(Note: HND’s last comic update will be 13 Jan 2021 and the Walrus comic’s last update will be 18 Jan 2021 before the hiatus begins)
Why the hiatus, you ask? Well… my financial situation has changed. I’m at a point where I need to up my efforts in finding cash. My first priority now would be to get a full-time job. Keeping up the updates as is will be hard, because I will need to put full attention to getting a job, hence the need for this hiatus.
The year 2020 had been a hard year. But it was also the year I started Heroes Never Die, a story I’ve always wanted to start. It’s been basically the year of comics for me. The fact that some of you folks still come back here to read them has been encouraging to me.
If I manage to find a 9-5 job, this will change the comics’ update schedule. I would only be able to work on one comic at a time, so it’ll be 1 comic to be updated weekly for 1 month. For example; the Walrus comic will be updated every week for April. Then at May, it will be HND that’s updated. And so on. Do take note, however, that my real-life circumstances might change this plan. Maybe my new 9-5 job will be a lot more taxing than usual, so further changes will have to be made.
Either way, when the hiatus ends at 14 April 2021, I will confirm how things will be, and will update you folks if there’s changes.
