In Malaysia, scams are so prevalent it’s almost a part of our lives here.
There are the bad scams – you’d get a call.
An automated message tells you that you have a huge credit amount not paid yet.
It tells you to press a certain number to be directed to the court personnel or something.
I myself get these calls sometimes (and cut them off quick).
Then there the well-executed scams – you’d get a call.
A debt collector says you’re late in paying back a huge loan!
If you don’t pay by today, you’ll be sued in court! Now follow these instructions to sort this out, quick!
